Automatic rebuild of a worksheet

Post by sander »

Hello All,

I have a worksheet(active form) in tm1, which I use both in excel and in Tm1Web, the form looks like this;
P1.png
P1.png (16.88 KiB) Viewed 4029 times
As you can see in the TM1RPTROW function in cel B17 I refer to cell C11. I do this to get the right subset in this function.

This all works fine exept I have to rebuild the worksheet every time I change the value in cell c11 to recalc the TM11RPTROW function, recalc doesn'tdo here.

Is there any possibility to automaticly rebuild the sheet after a change in a selection, i don't want to use a macro because I also need this functionality in Tm1Web.
I've looked at the TM1REBUILDOPTION, but that's only a solution when the file is opened.

Can anyone help me out here? TIA!

O, for you interested, we are trying to make a workaround for acces table functionality of Cognos EP. Because websheets are now made available in Tm1 10 contributor, we think this is possible with the above solution.

Just use a TM1 action button that rebuilds the form as it's "action". It will work in both Excel and TM1Web.

Tomok, I've seen this also, but this is not 'automatic', what I want is when I do the selection the sheet automicly rebuilds. What happens here is, I make a selection and then I have to click on the action button.

Thnx for your reply,

It may not be automatic but it's the only option that will do what you want for TM1Web.
