Jim,jim wood wrote:Your chart may not render if it includes any VBA / excel macros. These do not work in TM1 Web.
The chart/report does not have any VBA/excel macros.

Excel Chart Rendering Issue on TM1 Web
Hi All Excel report published to TM1 Web is not displayed properly. The issues observed are 1. Y axis values (%) are multiplied by 100. e.g. Value 2% in excel is displayed as 200% on web sheet. 2. Data lines and grid lines appear very thin. I changed line thickness in excel, but same is not reflecte...

Data Upload - Need suggestion(s)

There are around 60 measures. e.g. the data in access table ( and exported text file) looks like below. LOB Channel Product .................Measure1 M...

Data Load - Best Practice
Hello We have a SQL query that runs for around 40 mins in the query tool. The query is lengthy one and has lot of joins in it. When we try the same query in a TI process, the process is hung for a painfully long time when 'Preview' button is hit. The data load process will be run once in a month. So...

Use of Max connections feature
Lets say, I have 100 read only users who read data from a single reporting cube. Can I create just 10 users and set the max connections options to 10 (or more) for these users. I can then share each of these ids (and pwd) with a group of 10 users. I guess, IBM charges based on the named users in the...

Re: Deleting Cubes
would say for certain though that deleting large cubes in explorer has defo caused crashes. It might be related to the point above but again I'm not certain, I agree with Jim. Last evening I tried to delete a large cube, around 8GB, from server explorer and it was kind of taking forever to delete t...

Deleting Cubes
Hi I am weighing below options for deleting couple of dense cubes in our model (size around 10GB) 1. Delete .cub files from data directory and recycle the service 2. From front end, Tm1 perspective, delete the cubes using 'Delete Cube' option 1st one sounds a better option to me. But, wanted to get ...

Cannot set attribute values
Hi
I am trying to change existing attribute values for some of the dimension elements, but I keep getting this error "Tm1 Error - Cannot set attribute values".
If anyone ever got this error, please share what could be possible reasons behind this?
(TM1 Perspective 9.1 SP4)
Thanks
Suhas

Re: Retaining TM1 cell formats while slicing data to excel
More tests and this is what I have found.
If you have the formatting applied to an element that is in the columns of the cube view it will slice/carry over to excel. If you have formatting applied to elements in a row or title it will not carry over. (9.4.1 FP3)

Re: Retaining TM1 cell formats while slicing data to excel
have you tried starting with in-spreadsheet browser instead of cube viewer. I believe that retains formats when it is sliced. Thanks Ankur. Yes, in-spreadsheet browser will retain the formats. But I am looking for options, if any, to retain the formats after we create slice or active form in excel ...

Retaining TM1 cell formats while slicing data to excel
Is it possible to retain TM1 cell formats while creating a slice/active form from TM1 cube viewer?...So, if some value is displayed as % in cube viewer, it should be displayed as % only when we slice that view into excel? currently, it is displayed in decimal format. TM1 version is 9..4.1 FP3
