Cannot set attribute values

Hi

I am trying to change existing attribute values for some of the dimension elements, but I keep getting this error "Tm1 Error - Cannot set attribute values".
If anyone ever got this error, please share what could be possible reasons behind this?
(TM1 Perspective 9.1 SP4)

Check whether there's a rule on the attribute cube - turn on control cubes and see if a rule shows.
And, if the attribute is an alias, you may be trying to set a value which is already present in the dimension or in that or another alias.
