Hi There,

Users would like to get a contributor/Planner layout more user-friendly, but it seems really impossible to change the formating of the web view (like Border or cell color). Any idea ?
I know I could use report studio or business insight, however they need to use Contributor to fill their budget. SO report studio or business insght is not an option.

Contributor is a pretty basic interface(probably to avoid exciting former COgnos Planning users!). Why not use Web sheets? You will have all\most functionality of Excel formatting and can design a much nicer, more flexible, guided user experience. If you wish to use it with contributor work flow you will need to be on 10.1

I tried, unfortunately, it seems it's not usable by Cognos express Planner 10.1 only with TM1...

Hi,
I would be surprised if websheets couldn't be used in CX 10.1
I would rather guess that you enabled this application also for Cognos Insight but websheets are not allowed to be used in Insight.

You can definitely use websheets in CX 10.1 Planner applications!
What you can't do in either TM1 or CX is use Cognos Insight as a distributed or connected client for any application that uses websheets. Insight supports views only.
