Links to the .pdfs will be found in the FAQ thread (specifically, a link to this page), though I have to add in one to the Cognos Express .pdf page as well (which is here).

that link is just a users guide, i'm looking for more of the "admin and deploy" contributor application development...

I've only seen contributor covered in the installation guide. I'm not sure if it is anywhere else in the standard documentation. There are also no videos that cover TM1 contributor on You Tube. Alan, I see a gap in video guide market.......
