I need to apply security to rules, i.e. users should not be able to see cube rules and not be able to amend them. How do you achieve that?
Thanks

Users cannot ammend rules. Only administrators are able to edit rules.
However as far as I am aware there is no way to suppress the display of rules under the cubes. (and even if you could a user can always click on "trace calculation" in the cube viewer and see the rule that is in effect.)

More specifically, you need at least READ access to a cube to view its rules and at least ADMIN access to a cube to edit rules. You do not have to be a member of any of the 3 standard "Admin" groups.

Thanks for explanation. Talking about disabling functions, are you are able to disable menu choice "display control objects" for users?
