Hi

I have question about error of TM1. I start server TM1 and open TM1 Perspective and TM1Architect for build model and slice data via TM1 Perspective . After then have error box 'TM1S has stopped working ' . and that's close ,TM1 Server is close and It's not save data .
Question below
I think , It's clash between TM1 and Window ?
or TM1 have use too many for RAM ?
and you have solution this case because my customer can not work to TM1 .

Hi All

I think ,
This's server clash because occur frequently If you open the folder that contains files or file a lot of heavy.
Normally it will take over and ' TM1s has stop working '
It will open up once again.

If it does not open it, press crt alt del and select task manager.
And then press the right menu bar and select a file to write the new task (run. ..).
Type TM1S.exe, and then everything will be back.

But Who 's have solution for this problem ,Please tell me ?

In case it is not already, try turning off Data Execution Prevention by setting it to essential Windows programs and services.
(Found in properties tab for computer)

Hi,
I can give you a suggestion, try with the data you have that is backup of your data before this error occured then notice all the memory used, the memory used you can get in the task manager for tm1s.exe. Also notice what are updates you have done in next day that is after your back up data.
You can come to know where the problem occurs then you can get solution.

After It have not error box 'TM1S has stopped working' .

Hi guru1988fortm1,

I think and I am not 100 % sure but if its the same Kung and looking at that post it seems to be, she has moved to greener pastures and is no longer working in the TM1 domain.
I was involved in that project, at the time the dev server was being updated or had been updated by many developers all rushing to implement modules and this resulted in some rules that were less than perfect and resulting performance issues and possibly stability as well.
We struggled for a time to resolve it all as we also found some bugs with the 9.5 version we were on and had installed many "Hot Fixes" as she mentioned.

We also ended up upgrading the server which helped and eventually improved the feeders in a few core areas.

we are now not facing that problem any more,

I was looking in the log files and i could see that the error was USESSL ret=-1 something like that

So i updated the parameter in the config file USESSL=T, i made it as false

Even though it sounds weird but after updating this , we did not had that 'TM1s had stopped working'
