Hi,
I am asking if active forms work as well on Oppen Office with different linux distributor as in Microsoft Office.
Thank you for sharing your experiment.

Unless I'm _very_ mistaken, XLAs don't work with Open Office - so TM1 Perspectives, being an XLA, won't work. A fortiori, Active Forms won't work either.

Now that IBM are using Open Office themslves to avoid paying Microsoft any money I can't see a version of TM1 that works on open being too far away. It might be something for the next user conference. I think the question has been asked before and the answer has always been "We are thinking about it".

What documentation are you referring to? If you look at the
IBM website you will see there is no reference to UNIX for Perspectives.
TM1 Client/Perspectives is an
Excel add-in, not an Open Office Calc plug-in. If you want to have a TM1 like tool that can be used with Open Office you should have a look at
PALO.

As Michel said, the client is not Unix compliant but the server side software is. We run our server instances on Unix 10 64-bit,
