Hi,
I am asking if active forms work as well on Oppen Office with different linux distributor as in Microsoft Office.
Thank you for sharing your experiment.

Unless I'm _very_ mistaken, XLAs don't work with Open Office - so TM1 Perspectives, being an XLA, won't work. A fortiori, Active Forms won't work either.

Re: Excel on Linux
Now that IBM are using Open Office themslves to avoid paying Microsoft any money I can't see a version of TM1 that works on open being too far away. It might be something for the next user conference. I think the question has been asked before and the answer has always been "We are thinking about it".

Re: Excel on Linux
What documentation are you referring to? If you look at the IBM website you will see there is no reference to UNIX for Perspectives.rozef wrote:yes, it's look impossible

TM1 Client/Perspectives is an Excel add-in, not an Open Office Calc plug-in. If you want to have a TM1 like tool that can be used with Open Office you should have a look at PALO.

Re: Excel on Linux
As Michel said, the client is not Unix compliant but the server side software is. We run our server instances on Unix 10 64-bit,
