Hi,

We installed workflow 9.4 successfully. However, we are not able to load the workflow.
When we click on Admin button, the VB error dialog bix is displayed with following message.
"Compile Error in Hidden Module : frmtaskActions"

We had installed workflow during out training and it was working without any issues.

Any pointers on this?

We received a following solution but that didn't work because the Compatibility Flags were not available for any one of the keys.
=======================================================================
Apparently, it has to do with a Microsoft Security patch applied to your operating system. To fix it, see the instructions below. You will need to edit your registry:

Open the registry using REGEDIT and check the following keys:

check the four Windows Registry Keys

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\

{2C247F23-8591-11D1-B16A-00C0F0283628}
{BDD1F04B-858B-11D1-B16A-00C0F0283628}
{C74190B6-8589-11D1-B16A-00C0F0283628}
{0ECD9B64-23AA-11D0-B351-00A0C9055D8E}

have set their "Compatibility Flags" DWORD value set to 0 on all of the above keys

===========================================================================
We have few more questions.

__Workflow Prerequisites.__

If you are installing Workflow against an existing TM1 database:
‐ The existing TM1 database must have a dimension that holds the names
of budget versions. Without an existing version dimension, you cannot
run Workflow.

How do you take care of this?

Licensing
TM1 Workflow requires TM1 9.4 or later. You must have the following options
enabled in your TM1 Server license:
• TM1 Server
• TurboIntegrator
• TM1 Workflow

How do you take care of this? Which screen/license do we need to change? how? There is no such guidance in the document...

Any pointers?

Thanks & Regards
Milind

I had the same problem, you didnt need all four keys, I tried this on a Windows Server 2003 and on Win XP

The key i found on regedit, on Activex Compatibility was: {0ECD9B64-23AA-11D0-B351-00A0C9055D8E}

I modified the way I am describing to you on the attached picture and it is working fine. I never solved this problem removing or reinstalling Microsoft KB´s, I never found those.

I know this is probably not your answer, but that method worked for me.

Regards,

I followed the instructions above and only found the key {0ECD9B64-23AA-11D0-B351-00A0C9055D8E} , after I changed the "Compatibility Flags" DWORD value to 0, my workflow works well now.
Thank you!

I change the compatibility flags for {0ECD9B64-23AA-11D0-B351-00A0C9055D8E} DWORD to 0 (it is the only key among four keys mentioned that have the compatibility flags)

Now I can click Admin button to open TM1 Workflow Administration Console and other buttons BUT the 'Load' button (despite the Load button working well from TM1 Web)
When I click the Load button in Excel, i get this message:

UnInstall Windows Update (KB973346)

Otherwise TM1 Workflow will not work properly.
