Hi Team

three tier architecture i.e PAW in one server, CA in one server and PA in one server.

Windows server 2019
Paw version-2.0.80

I have referred the below article:

Step 1: navigated to PA sever path and opened the tm1web_config.xml as notepad.
Step 2: Added the parameter as HttpSessionTimeout = 15mins.

(refer the attached screenshot)

Result: opened the excel connected with server idle waited for 15 mins but the excel is not throwing error for session time out.

Refernces used :
Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services (new TM1 Web):
Default: 20 minutes (default session-timeout in \tm1web\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\web.xml)
Location: \tm1web\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\configuration\tm1web_config.xml
Setting: HttpSessionTimeout

Please assist on this issue.

Hi,
Your mail is rather unclear about which client session you are trying to impact.

You mention editing a config for PASS but then mention testing the connection time out in Excel.

For excel sessions you want the following both set in the tm1s.cfg
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-an ... outseconds
and
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-an ... outminutes
