hi,

my client have this trouble when i try to enter a value in this cell (this is a consolidated cell)
right now, the only thing that i can do is give him a admin right, if not, he can not write in this cell.

i need to solve this probleme as soon as possible. and i have no idea why. any help will be appreciated !

List of my check :
- }CubeSecurity : ok
- }CellSecurity_CUBE : ok
- }DimensionSecurity : ok
- }ElementSecurity_DIMENSION : ok
- }ClientProperties : ReadOnly : empty
- No holds, lock of reservation
- Allow write back in workspace : yes
- no Security overlay
- Capabilities : Allow Spreading for all groups

Looks like you are trying to do a spread, i.e. data entry at the C level. Judging from the error message the user doesn't have write access at the C level intersections in the view.

So I'd say recheck the security model but make sure you consider that they need WRITE access at the C level to do so.

I couldn't see anything in the cfg that might be blocking this.

Under capabilities, Is anything set against Consolidation Typein spreading?

Personally, I sleep better at night if this is set to deny

thanks for the help Steve, i check again in }ElementSecurity_DIMENSION and i found the probleme, i dont have write acces at the C level. i add this and it worked!

Thank Maren, i have the same opinion as you, the reason that i allow the user to type in C element is : they are typing in a cube Reporting that have only static data (sended by TI from another cube).
