Hi
I have just installed 10.1 on a windows 7 64bit parallels instance. I have managed to open architect fine however when I try and open perspectives, it gives me the following error:
run time error 68, device unavailable (see attached).
Any suggestions please ? could it be down to TM1 being 32bit and my windows being 64bit ? if so, how is architect working then ?
Cheers
Chris

Re: unable to find object
Most likely you have 64-bit excel. I believe 64-bit perspectives didn't get created until version 10.2; I stand to be corrected as the first iteration of 10.2 was a while ago itself now so it may have been there beforehand.
Either way you need the same combo of excel and perspectives, 32 or 64 bit. If 64 bit perspectives doesn't exist for 10.1 then you will either need to upgrade TM1 or the probably easier option of changing excel for 32 bit.

Hi
Thanks for your suggestions. However my excel is 2007 so I don't believe its 64 bit ,,, I thought 64 bit office versions only started in office 2010 ?
Any other suggestions ?
Cheers
