TM1 Web does not work.
Hi, I really got stuck TM1 web. Could you please help... ?
TM1 Server 10.2.2 64 bit was installed into Windows Server 2003 and TM1 Client 10.2.2 was installed into separate client PC (Windows 7).
And started "TM1 Application Server", "TM1 Admin Server", "TM1 Server instances" in Windows Server. (I did not change TM1 application server component properties. ).
http://localhost:9510/ or http://tm1_servername:9510/ does not work on TM1 server and client PC. It shows 5 squares.
ERROR LOG: I can see following errors. At C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\logs\stderr_20140604.log
Jun 04, 2014 7:55:57 PM org.apache.catalina.core.AprLifecycleListener init
INFO: The APR based Apache Tomcat Native library which allows optimal performance in production environments was not found on the java.library.pat
However, file size of tm1web.log (C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\logs) is 0.
It seems tomcat is not working on the TM1 server.
Do you have any idea to solve this issue?
P.S I could confirm that tomcat is running on task bar.

Re: TM1 Web does not work.
Have you gone in to cognos configuration and saved the configuration and started the services? I know guys have posted similair issues before and saving the configuration makes sure everything is fully deployed,
Jim.

Dear Jim,
Thank you for reply.
We do not need to install BI.
I thought below setup is for BI.

What configuration do I require for TM1 web?

Re: TM1 Web does not work.
Please go through the 10.2 install guide. TM1 got Cognos configuration with version 10. Full details of it are in the install guide,
Jim.

Re: TM1 Web does not work.
Dear Jim,
I did following things as per the installation guide. Still the web site, http://localhost:9510 nor http://localhost:9510/tm1web nor http://localhost:9510/pmpsvc shows squares only.
What steps do I miss??

Re: TM1 Web does not work.
When you went in to Cognos configuration did you save before exit? That triggers any deployment that hadn't occured up to that point? By now it might be to late and you may need to look at a re-install, unless one of the other guys had seen your error before and knows of another fix,
Jim.

Re: TM1 Web does not work.
Try to stop and start Application server/Admin server from Cognos Configuration . I think you are using windows services directly to stop and start.
As Jim suggested i would go with unistall present set up and do a fresh install and save cognos configuration. Many times it worked for me

Re: TM1 Web does not work.
Reinstalled TM1 10.2.2 and start Local Configuration ( I did not change any configuration.. I'm happy to use default. http://localhost:9510). Now TM1 Application Server, TM1 Admin Server, TM1 Servers are started.
File -> Save.
Now tm1s.cfg has followings.
[TM1S]

SecurityPackageName=Kerberos
IntegratedSecurityMode=1
ServicePrincipalName=tm1sd/ADMINHOST

Then update : C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\configuration\tm1web_config.xml
<add key="AdminHostName" value="ADMINHOSTNAME" />

<add key="TM1ServerName" value="tm1_dev_v10" />
Stop & start TM1 Application Server from IBM Cognos Configration.
File -> Save.
I would like to use tomcat which is in the TM1 10.2.2 software.
In that case, do I need to do other steps like Actions -> Build Application File from IBM Cognos Configuration?
File -> Save.

On C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\configuration\tm1web_config.xml
