Ms Excel Unable to see server when TM1 web is installed

Hi Everyone

Can someone please assist me.
I am running TM1 9.1 SP4 on Microsoft Server 2003 operating system.
After installing TM1 web on the same computer I am unable to see the server in excel when acessing the server from an workstation.

Apologies if this comes under the "too obvious" category, but the installation would probably have shut down both the TM1 server service and the TM1 Admin Hose service. You've checked that both of those are in fact up and running?

Also I'd be inclined to reboot the box if possible after an installation like that. Server 2003 is fairly robust in my experience and will accept new software quite happily (well, TM1 anyway) but it's often wise to take the precaution.

i assume that the config's are correct.

execute importsslcert.exe in bin\ssl

also check %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\services
if there are the correct port entries for the tm1adminsrv_ssl & tm1adminsvr
