Hi everyone,
So I'm running into an issue with a couple of users. We installed 32 bit Café on their machines (64-bit Windows 7, 32bit Excel 2010) and the add-in isn't listed in Excel. At the same time, we've also installed Café on 32-bit Windows 7 with everything else being the same and it worked without issues.
These are the add-ins that are listed on a successful install (32-bit OS, 32 bit excel):
IBM Cognos for Excel 2007/2010
IBM Cognos Office Reporting BI Addin
Cognos Office for Excel
These are the add-ins that are listed on a failed install (64-bit OS, 32 bit excel)
IBM Cognos Office Reporting BI Addin
Cognos Office for Excel
and the relevant DLL file that's listed for IBM Cognos for Excel 2007/2010 is in the directory but is not recognized in this instance.
Have any of you experienced and issue like this?
Thanks.

Yes, I started a thread with a similar issue.
In the Add-ins screen in Excel, select "Disabled Items" from the Manage drop down box.
You should see the CAFE related item in there.
I'm not sure why it does this, I can only assume it due to a dirty uninstall of a previous instance of CAFE (Note: have not experianced this on a clean install)

Actually, for these folks that listing isn't even there. Despite the fact that Cafe is most definitely installed on their laptops, it's not listed in excel.
