Control cube update by chore

Post by Matya »

Hi All,

I would like to update the }CellSecurity_XCube by chore.
Unfortunately, the process is failing every time because security reason.
Could I set that the chore runs 'under' my account? or How could I fix this problem?

Thx,
Matya

Matya, tomok has pointed you in the right direction. I will just add two things.

a) Each process always runs with rights equivalent to being executed by a member of DataAdmin security group, regardless of who/what actually kicks it off. That is unless a specific option is checked in the context menu (yes, the one tomok is hinting at) - in that case the process will run with both DataAdmin and SecurityAdmin rights (so effectively full Admin rights). This has been the case since a good few versions ago.

b) This topic has been covered tens of times on the forum, have you tried the fantastic Search function?
