Re: OLE for OLAP TM1 missing
Right-click on the Setup.exe file from the installation package and choose Run as Administrator.clubjoker wrote:Hello everybody,

In the event that the suggestion form Tomok yields n result, run the set up process on the server as usual, when you are asked to select the components, make sure you select the client components. It feels a little alien to have the client on the database server if you have only local clients, or citrix clients, but for this OLE DB component, it is required.

we have ibm cognos express 9.5 installed. Could be the installation process differ from the enterprise edition? Run as administrator doesn't work ...

Re: OLE for OLAP TM1 missing
Don't you think that would have been relevant information to include in your original post? I'm pretty sure the ability to link TM1 with other systems (via the OLEDB for OLAP driver) is not part of the Cognos Express licensing. That might explain why it isn't included, perhaps others will know for sure (I've never implemented CE).clubjoker wrote:we have ibm cognos express 9.5 installed.
