Folks
In Performance Modeler:
Have deleted applications using standard front end. Then tried to create new application using the same underlying 'model' with same approval hierarchy as before:
Error:
The Approval Hierarchy dimension 'xxxxxx' is being used by appliction '{5c8ba7c1-1cd7-4567-8182-07827b195afb}
After some grumbling i created a new Approval hierarchy and applied to all cubes in the model
Error
The cubeview 'xxxxxx' is being used by appliction '{5c8ba7c1-1cd7-4567-8182-07827b195afb}
Clearly the cleanup of internal metadata is still thinking the old/deleted application still exists.
Found bunch of control cubes relating to application state. Very loath to simply delete then. IS there a control cube clean up job i can run. Have already restarted the TM1 Server but no help.
See attachment for control cubes in question:

Have you restarted your service AFTER you delete the application? Sometime that can clear orphan/unused metadataMark H wrote:Folks

Found the solution:
There is a TI process we can use to 'clean-up'. Perhaps one day will invent menu driven options

It works.
