Quesiton about TM1 Cognos Insight

Hello,
i'm am starting to use this tool, and have one problem.
When i enter positive value, for example 1-->it returns 1, that's ok. Problem is when i enter negative values,
for example if i enter -1-->in cell returns result as -10, or -100. Why is result numberd x10, or x100? But only negative values.
I can't find setting for this??

Which version are you using and which mode (connected/distributed/standalone)? I cannot reproduce your problem in 10.2.

Also, which one is it, does it multiply numbers by 10 or 100? Or does it choose the multiplier randomly?

I'm using 10.1.1. connected.
And factor is 10x

So if i put -1 result is -10

Yes.. But i'am new in this tool so, is somewhere my mistake i understand .
I noticed that, every time i try to insert number, it put's me out what kind of spread i whant, sometimes i can do relative proportional spread, and then is result ok, but most of time is available just equal spread then is result x10.
If i put in postive number it doesn't mind what kind of spread i choose, result is ok.

It looks like user error then. You are trying to input numbers at consolidated level (typically you would do it on the lowest level, also called N level or leaf level). In such case Cognos Insight offers you a choice of data spreading methods and depending on the type of spread you choose and its parameters, you might end up putting your 1 or -1 on every leaf element under the chosen consolidation, which then sums up to, say, -10 on that consolidated level.

Hm... i try on diferent cubes, aplication. I don't understand.. Maybee i put sometimes to consolidated level, but in times when i don't get spread, also give x10 for negative values. And why he doesn't sume positive values if i put to conslidated levels and spread them?

Well it's really hard to give you anything more concrete as you're not providing enough detail here.

Do you think you could describe in detail the steps you are taking with the result you are getting? Preferably with screenshots...

today we take some tests and find out. Problem is that when we put before number + or -, is result multiple x 10.
If i wrote 1*-1=1 So if i wrote formule is ok, if i write -1=-10 or +1=10

I cannot replicate this problem.

If you enter data at the lowest level then +1 or -1 is doing what we expect.

Entering +1 , +10 etc at aggregate leve(spread) also spreads data with the increase.

Perhaps you can attach a screen print to show the problem in more detail ?

In general when is in firts place - or + result is -10, or +10

This problem is by different customers, differnt cubes, we try in connected or distributed, so whole different thing..
