Re: Admin server is not starting
Try this
1)Empty log folder and restart the server
2)check for user name and password if your login as domain user

Re: Admin server is not starting
I'm coming late to the party on this, but I missed the original posts and didn't notice this thread until Jodha's post above.
I'm not sure why the Admin Server service would be saying that "the dependency service or group" failed to start because it doesn't depend on any other system components, as the Dependencies tab should show. (The servers on that box do depend on it, but that shouldn't prevent the Admin Server from starting. I'm assuming from your screenshot that you were trying to load that one rather than one of the servers.)
However... I do note in your screenshot (thanks for adding one of those, a picture may well be worth the proverbial thousand words here) that you installed the server service using the user name \Karnaker. And judging from the seeming lack of a period in front of the Log On As entry for the Admin Server, it looks like you may have done the same thing there.
If I recall correctly the standard installation package warns that you may encounter problems if you don't enter the user name in the format:
DomainName\UserName
or
MachineName\UserName
as the case may be.
This may well be an example of that.
Try uninstalling and when you reinstall, make sure that you add either the domain or machine name ahead of your user ID and see whether that works.

Re: Admin server is not starting
We had a similar issue once because the domain password had "expired". Please check if there is any expiry setup on the admin user password.
