Installing Tm1top on Cognos Express 10.1 client

Has anyone setup Tm1top on their laptop/pc?

I have it working fine on the server but it’s not installed as part of the Xcelerator Client install.
My PC is a 64 bit win 7 PC so should work if I can get the right files/ install.
Simply copying the tm1top.exe and tm1top.ini is not enough.
Couldn’t find any reference to this in the IBM documentation

Hi James - do a search for tm1top + DLL. All you should need is the required DLLs and the SSL directory plus tm1top.exe and tm1top.ini. You can place this wherever just as long as the tm1top.exe is in the same root directory as the DLLs. Thsi is how it has always been and I doubt very much that it would be any different for CX.

FYI:
From license perspectives you are not allowed to use TM1Top with Xcelerator Client license (you need an Administrator license).
That is my latest information.

Livening might effect my super users but since I am the admin I will get over putting it on the server and my machine.

Doing it might be the challenge though as the old version did not display CAM/AD users correctly.

I see they have fixed this but following the IBM 9.5 instructions for this:

Results in the particularly helpful error message.

In the end i copied the whole 64bit dir to my PC.
This worked but only if your PC is a windows 7 computer it's a 64 bit exe so wont work on a 32 bit XP machine
