TM1web can connect to TM1 server, TM1 architect cann't

I've installed a TM1 9.4 server on AIX platform, found that I can connect to sample instance using TM1web, but can not connect to it using Tm1 architect, Why? Tm1web and atchitect are on the same machine, any idea? thanks all, it's urgent

When you say that you "can not connect" it's not clear whether you can't see the server at all, or can see it and can't log into it, and if you can't log into it exactly what is happening when you try.

Assuming that it's the first problem, though (that is, you can't see the server in Architect), are you sure that you have the Admin Host set correctly in Architect's options?

When you say that you "can not connect" it's not clear whether you can't see the server at all, or can see it and can't log into it, and if you can't log into it exactly what is happening when you try.

Yes, I can't see the server in Architect, I put the same host ip in Tm1web Admin Host window and Architect option window, then refresh available server, I can't see it at all

didn't setup SSL, TM1web don't connect through SSL and architect through SSL? actually not sure how SSL works, I accepted default setting when setting up the server? could u please explain more to me, thanks

I'm experiencing the exact same problem as this. Did anybody solve this issue or has anybody else met it since???

AIX Version: 6.1
TM1 server version: 9.5.2 64-bit
Windows server version: win 2008 r2
Architect version: 9.5.2 32-bit

We found the problem. It was a DNS issue. While using the IP address in TM1 Web works it does not work in Architect. If you use the DNS name it works for both. I'm guessing the original problem for this post may have been related.
