Hello,
I have installed TM1 Contributor on my laptop, but when I try to logon I get the following error message "Could not logon to any available servers with the provided credentials.".
I already have a server that I have started before logging in.
Can someone please advice?

Re: TM1 Contributor error
When you say you install TM1 Contributor, do you mean you had the TM1 engine before hand and have recently added Contributor, or have you recently done a full fresh install? If the former have you tried uninstalling the original TM1 engine and doing a clean install?
If the latter and by "TM1 Contributor" you mean "TM1 in general", where are you trying to logon? Perspectives? TM1 Web? Contributor? If Contributor/Web, which browser are you using, IE or Firefox? Do you get the same error in the other browser?
I.e. please give a few more details about your problem and perhaps a screenshot to boot.

Please do not send technical questions via private message or email. Post them in the forum where you'll probably get a faster reply, and everyone can benefit from the answers.

Re: TM1 Contributor error
It used to work, but it seemed to have stopped working. I am trying to log on to TM1 Contributor through IE. I have added a screenhsot.

make sure that edivb5319 and localhost are in the Local Intranet sites for IE (Tools, Internet Options, security, advanced). You get that error sometimes when the sites are not in that list (credentials get stripped).

Re: TM1 Contributor error
or else you can try using Firefox and see if you have the same problem.
If its working in Firefox then it means it has something to do with the IE settings.

Re: TM1 Contributor error
to resolve this issue remove this part from pmpsvc_config.xml (webapps\pmpsvc\WEB-INF\configuration\pmpsvc_config.xml) and restart IE
Code: Select all
<admin_host name="localhost">
<servers>
<server name="planning sample" />
</servers>
</admin_host>
