This might be common knowledge/documented/obvious
but.....
In order to run an application (or develop one ) using the TM1 API , you need to use the setup kit to install the .NET API.
I thought it would be sufficient to reference the Applix.TM1.API.dll from a .NET project.
Incidentally does anyone know how to install/wrap up the .NET part without using the full installer?

I discovered this afternoon that you can fire executables remotely, so you can leave your .net application and the .net api on your Tm1 server and kick it off from elsewhere so there isn't really any need to set up the API on other machines.
