Hi Kumar,

From a technical point of view, you need to understand how OLAP works, and have an idea about dimensions, cubes or just give a read through to star schema. From a non-tech/functional point of view, if you have studied a finance or accounting course in college, it should be good enough to get you started, with most of the of examples out there.

Other than the above, you need to have the hunger to learn + time + TM1 software.

Check out the prerequisites for IBM TM1 certification, and also web search TM1 developer/admin job descriptions to get some ideas.
