Measures of VMM

Hi gurus

I came across one of the performance articles from a consulting firm regarding the VMM setting . In the article , it says the entered value is in KBs while the TM1 manual is Bytes.

Has anyone actually ever changed this in }CubeProperties and with a confirmation of the measure ?

Thanks ;)

Thanks for the hint :D I just mange to locate the post .

This is also getting confused in another post , I think I might just do some testing to verify.

FYI , this is the article that I am referring to

VMM: This is the amount of memory the TM1 Server will allocate for all Stargate views for a given cube. The values are entered in kilobytes and the default value (if not specified otherwise) is 64KB. The more memory made available for SGV’s, the better the performance will be. However, one must keep in mind sufficient memory exists for the TM1 server to load all cubes.

Hi Hyunjia, I just posted my results from a simple test over on http://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9969#p46571. Long story short, the default appears to be > 64kb these days, and VMM is specified in kb.
