Inconsistent E_Pick

Could anyone shed some light on the following. I'm using E_Pick in VBA with a static subset as an argument, and it works perfectly. Well until I specify an alias, then the results are either correct, blank or the incorrect selection. I initially thought it was the "&" in the alias, but there are instances when it s not the case at all. Any help will be appreciated.
