Missing Action Buttons in Tm1 Web (Multi-Server Environment)

Hi All,
I am having an issue displaying actions button within excel sheets over Tm1 Web in the Production environment (which is setup with 2 servers, Web server and Data Server – they are running using the same services account). On DEV/TEST this is working okay but all the Tm1 components are on one server. Everything else works fine (Tm1 Applications, Tm1 Web Cube View etc…). We are using Tm1 10.1.1 FP1 and excel 2010.
Here is what we have tried thus far (which didn’t work)
1. Installed “Visual Basic for Application” component for excel on the web server (Technote - http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21560579 )
2. Changed settings in excel on the web server
a. ActiveX setting to “Enable”
b. Macro Settings to “Enable”
As this is in the Production environment we require downtime to implement potential solutions so I am trying to compile as many as possible in order to avoid bringing down production multiple times. Here is some other suggestions I am going to test:
1. Installing Perspectives on Web Server (to install missing files?)
2. Re-register the tm1xl.ocx file (Technote - http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21454217 / http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21634635)
We are working with IBM support but I wanted to be proactive and see if anyone else experienced this problem and can recommend a potential solution or even suggest whether the suggestions outline above worked?
Appreciate your time and any suggestions you can provide.
Thanks
Lance
