WEIRD Active Form Performance Problem - FREAKY

Hi there

We have a strange problem with an active form - as the day progresses, it reaches a point where it hangs completely (we wait over 20 minutes).
We then restart the tm1 service - take about 2 minutes for our model to restart.
Then the active form runs fine - ie about 30 seconds.
Few hours later, reaches point where it hangs again
Cycle repeats

We are running TM1 10.1.1

When hanging, we can open a cube view with the same data, and it works fine.

This is really WEIRD! How come it works fine after a service restart - especially when the service restart is only 2 minutes (if the report requries all feeders to be processed, this could not exceed the total time to start model up)

Any ideas - I am completely baffled..!!???

Hi Chewza,

Is there anything unusual about the active form?

Does it have any of:
1/ excel formulas calculating
2/ multiple cube lookups
3/ complex formatting (conditional)
4/ lookups to other sheets
5/ does this impact only on a refresh
6/ are there any action buttons on the form?

Just a starting point for analysis....
