We are talking to a potential customer who has queried support for TM1\Cognos Express under Citrix. Specifically they have asked about support under Citrix XenApp Ver 6.5 ( I think this is the latest version)

A lot of our customers have been using Citrix sucessfully for many years but, as yet we have not found one using XenApp 6.5. The rather nasty IBM support environments SPCR tool gives support status as :
- TM1 10.2 Support for Xen Desktop 4.0-> 5.6
- Cognos Express 10.2.1 (and 10.1). No mention of Citrix!

I have a couple of questions:
- Anyone out there using Citix XenApp 6.5 and, if so, are they happy for their company to be named?
- For Citrix experts, what is the relationship between XenApp and Xen Desktop? From the Citrix Web site it looks as though Desktop includes XenApp but, if so, which version?

We're using XenApp 6.0 and 9.5.2 (mostly) successfully, and I'm about to do a pilot on 10.something and XenApp 6.5 as there is a separate project here that has built XenApp 6.5 so there's no extra cost. I can let you know how we get on - it's scheduled within the next month.
