i want to know how to add alias to the cube.
After opening the cube by clicking edit button it had an option 'EDIT CUBE ATTRIBUTES'
in that i selected alias button and gave an allias name but how to see the alias name there is no affect to the cube.

I'm not aware of any use for cube aliases but I'll be interested to hear otherwise.

You can reference the cube alias in a slice, it appears, but like David I'm struggling to see a use for it.

How about multiple language support?
How about as a mechanism to support changing object names? (with SwapAliasWithPrincipalName)
