Hi,

We prepare active forms and upload to applcations for budget holders to submit bugets via TM1 Web entry. We could hardcode values for dimension elements within the active form. Access to the cube is required for entry. We did not set cell scurity.

Now we have upgraded although the Web entry forms are ok, the budget holders can now see cube views unders the applications folder and with it all the views containing elements of dimensions we didn't want them to see.

Question is can we hide the Cube 'Views' from appearing on TM1 Web or will we have to bite the bullet and carry out cell scurity?

Thanks in advance

Tara

You can set visibility of cube views via the web.config file.

I assume then that none of the users have access to TM1 via Excel? Otherwise hiding views in web would be fairly moot.

In the ClientSettings cube you can determine on a per user basis whether the web navigation pane can be displayed. Simply turn the navigation pane off for non admin users and set up a home page for the users and some action button navigation and menu sheets so users can get to the forms that they need.
