Does Express 10.2.1 supports MTQ (Multi-Threaded Query) ?

Hi All,

Does anybody know if Express 10.2.1 supports MTQ - Multithreaded Query ?

Express 10.2.1 bundles TM1 10.2 and TM1 10.2 supports MTQ (Multi-Threaded Query support).
But I could not find in Express documentation stating it supports MTQ.

Also, I could not find MTQ not being supported as well, in the document that lists the features that are in Cognos TM1 but not in Express 10.2.1

Anybody have any idea ?

Thanks.

Enterprise and CX have the same TM1 engine...the major difference is in the licensing perspective....CX under 100 users.

Thanks

Under new 10.2 licensing there is also a max limit of 50 users for (effectively ) read write access, Performance Management users I think they are called. So you could have
- 100 reporters,
- 30 PM users and 70 reporter users
- 50 PM users and 50 reporter users
but NOT
- 60 PM users and 40 reporter users

There is also a limit of 560 PVUs for the server, effectively twin quad core processors.

Found the link in Express :

Though it refers to TM1, as its in Express documentation, should be supporting MTQ.

Thanks a lot guys for all your inputs.

Remember you have to turn it on in the cfg file!
