Is there any software or addon or process to replace automatically a dimension name or a cube name in every rules (except CTRL F) ?
My client has just changed his mind about a dimension name and it could be very long to change it in every part of the application.
This is certainly one of the last ugly bad point of TM1 versus Cognos Planning now...

This has been covered quite a few times before and you will find more detailed discussions on it by using the search function of the forum.
However to summarise the usual approach would be to use PERL script etc on the data directory (while the service is stopped), if you are simply changing a dimension name for example then it is usually straight forward but you need to be VERY careful if you are making any further changes (such as swapping one dimension for another.)
Like with everything in the IT world, you must make full backups before changing anything like this.
