Hi All,

We are using IBM Cognos TM1 10.1.1 Version. we have created a TM1 web application using performance modeler on my local system(added approval hierarchy, added cube views and gave all the user rights to the application) and then I exported this application through TM1 application 10.1.1(right click on application then export) The application is working fine on my local system. Now I am trying to import the exported application file to a TM1 server residing on different machine, but I am not able to import it. I have created all the required cubes and dimensions on this new machine. Error message says "Application Import Failed. Description . The approval hierarchy dimension <approval hierarchy dimension name> is being used by application '{<application name is some alphanumeric format>}'.

I replaced content of data folder of server from my local data folder but this didn't help. I have not used this approval hierarchy dimension in any other application. Please guide me if I am wrong somewhere or what else I can do to import this application?

Do you have an application already running on the new machine that uses the same approval hierarchy?

Finally answer we got.. and the application is deployed successfully in another local machine.The problem was that before importing the application from another server or machine we have to run control object Process "}tp_admin_delete_All process"..after this only the import application works successfully in another machine....The same issue was already there in TM1 forum sorry didn't saw that post...
