User-Defined Consolidation (Edit, Insert Subset...)

I have an issue with a User-Defined Consolidation that seems weird to me. I have a public subset containing a few cost centers that I would like to aggregate. I insert this subset through the regular Edit->Insert Subset… in the Subset Editor window into another subset that I later save with another name then the first one (obviously). This new subset is also as public subset.
I can see both subsets and they look the way I want them too, however, when I try to select the aggregated node of my User-Defined Consolidation in the public subset via a SUBNM formula in Excel using Xcelerator that SUBNM “turns” blank and it ignores the element selection just keeping the SUBNM formula as below:
=SUBNM("CXMD:Kst";"Test 2";"")
When I manually add “Test1” which is the name of my User Defined Consolidation to the “element” part of the SUBNM expression it works and TM1 is returning figures.
Any clues why this is happening are deeply appreciated! It might be that I remember incorrectly and that this is not even possible but it seems so strange…
