Hi TM1 team,
Final phase of our project...one issue is pending from 2 days.iam unable to solve.
can anyone please help.
I have created an approval hierarchy like for A there is 2 child e and f and under B there is 2 child g and h.

Now suppose there are 2 cubes 'ABC' and 'IJK'.I have only 1 license and i want the same user let say 'g' should see either A or B not both at the same time.

what I have done is I have created 2 groups grp1 and grp2 and given admin rights to user 'e' in grp1 and grp2 in grp 1 I hav egiven cube ABC access and in grp 2 I have given cube IJK access asper my requirement the user has access to Cube ABC and cube IJK.But when iam opening the application with user id i.e user 'e' Iam seeing both the views of the cube i.e ABC and IJK as I have given the access to the user 'e on ABC and IJK cube.

How we canachieve this. I want the user should see only one cube view at a time.I cannot create user e1 and give the access to grp2 as i have license constraint.how we can achieve this.

That's a pretty odd requirement - how do you decide which cube he should start with? You could have a TI behind an Action Button which flips security around but I'm kind of thinking that's rather beyond your paygrade. Bit of a shame your employer has dropped you into a project without providing you access to someone who knows TM1 properly.

The answer is you can't without changing the security privileges before the user logs in (either manually, or via a TI) each time, depending on what you wan't them to see. What you did will not accomplish your objective because security rights in TM1 are additive, they end up with the total of all the security rights based on ALL the security groups they exist in.
