Hi Team,

I am new to TM1 and need some help for a requirement.
The client requires to have 2 months of archived (history) data and metadata. So if we are in the current month of August, the clients should have access to current month's data as well as prior 2 months of data (in the same cube or in 3 different cubes). The 2 prior month cubes (or instances) should have that month's metadata too.

Current Month : August 2013 (Cube/Instance should have current/latest metadata and current/latest data )
Prior Month 1 : July 2013 (Cube/Instance should have July's metadata and July's data )
Prior Month 2 : June 2013 (Cube/Instance should have June's metadata and June's data )

Sometimes they may also ask to restore last months instance (metadata and data) into the current month.

Please let me know if this can be achieved in TM1? If yes what is the best way to proceed and how ?
Also can this be done in one cube or this will have to be in 3 different cubes ?

TM1 Version : 10.1
Excel Version : 2010

Yes it can be done in TM1 (just as with your other posting).

The best way to proceed for both questions is to go on a TM1 training course, practise the techniques and get some good hands-on experience. If you come across issues that can't be solved by looking at the manuals or reading the FAQ's then I am sure the TM1 experts on this forum will be happy to help.

In the meantime you should explain to your client that they need to find someone who understands TM1.
