replication

I have a production tm1 server let's say: prod1. I also have a development tm1 server: dev1. Then I have another tm1 server: cora. All tm1 server applications are in the same machine.
I replicate 'cube1' from dev1 to cora. At the end of development, I want to change the source of replication. Now the 'cube1' must synchronize data from 'cube1' in prod1. So i delete the replication connection to dev1 in cora and create another replication connection to prod1. I click synchronize data but the cube1 in cora does not synchronize data with cube1 in prod1 at all.
Then I check the }CubeProperties control cube. I edit the cell at the intersection of Cube1 and Replication to: prod1 (i guess this define which replication connection it takes data from). I do the same for the dimensions used by Cube1 in }DimensionProperties control cube. However the cube1 in cora does not synchronize data.
Is there any way to do it? I want to minimize the migration effort
