Dear TM1 Experts,

I am new to TM1 and i am doing some test on TM1 10.1 and i am unsure of the steps to install and use the TM1 Web element.

At the same time on Architect, i created a new Server, so how this is included in the TM1 Web?

Will there be any specific setup to be done on the IIS and component or directory to use?

Many Thanks and Best Regards,

Krishna

Welcome. May I suggest you take a training class, or at a minimum, read the documentation?

You can't create a server via Architect. You can only create a server by installing the server software and/or running the command line procedure to create a new TM1 service. What you are probably talking about is running an "in-process local server" (IBM's terminology), for a version of the TM1 service that runs isolated on your local machine. This in-process service can only by accessed via Architect or Perspectives. You cannot use TM1Web with this.

The IBM installation guide covers all the information you need to know about software prerequisites, including IIS version(s) supported and necessary .NET components.
