Can someone share TM1_NET_API_Doc.chm?

Post by macsir »

I know there is a chm file which includes all API functions, but I can't find it on my server? My version is V10.1 X64.
For the dotNet API documentation on Windows, refer to your installation in the <TM1_Install>/API/DOTNETAPIDOC directory. Just double click to open the TM1_NET_API_Doc.chm file.
Can someone share it if you have? I think it must exist in V9 servers?
Thanks a lot.
In TM1,the answer is always yes though sometimes with a but....

On the last point, I received advice from Support that the .chm will be reinstated in 10.2 and be made available as a download shortly.

No explanation of why the library has been shifted into the web folder though.

They also said that there are no plans to discontinue support for the .Net API.
I'd suggest contacting Support and seeing whether they really have made it available as a download (want to bet that they've forgotten about it?) and if they have, let everyone know where it is available from.

Not, of course, that they've come anywhere near closer to developing the .Net API into a full featured one, but that's a different issue. As is the fact that the .chm itself is of remarkably limited value.

Thanks, Alan. Acutally I have checked your serveral posts. I bet they have forgotten to attach it. However I found a file under TM1Web\bin\Applix.TM1.API.xml, which looks like new and full of all functions but it is XML structured. I will try if I can conver it.

Hi, all
Here is the converted TM1 API function list. It is just a dump file so the content might not be tidy. But at least we have some documents to refer. :D
