Hi,
I have created a server called Test.
The Server is visible in the Server Explorer.
But, whenever I try to Login using the username and password,
I get this error.
Any reason why am I getting this error?
Roy.

Did you buy chance set the IP port for the new test server to the same number as one of the other existing servers?

Do you mean to say the TM1 Server Port(Port Number)?
I have set different port numbers for all the servers.

I have seen this error in relation to a problem with the SSL certificates - have you checked that the certificates are in the location specified in the Options dialog within Server Explorer?

I had it once but the circumstances were weird, and not likely to be yours.
Here is what I think happened.
When a colleague had come into the office having been working from home for a while. His IP address lease had expired and so he was given a new one, but his TM1 server still thought that it was on the old one, which in the meantime had been given to me. The server then duly registered itself on my machine, but with my IP address. Naturally when Architect looked for it on my machine it found nothing.
In the end I found it by checking using NETSTAT to find out where the connection was coming from and then wandering round the office looking for someone with that IP address.
