I am setting up a Cognos TM1 benchmark to measure the execution time to open several views, insert elements, process cubes ... and I wanted to ask you if you have any idea how to measure tm1 execution time?

I have done a similar benchmark for Microsoft Analysis Services and I used a profiler to determine the execution time for the queries. Is there something similar (a profiler?) for TM1?

How did you measure execution time in your projects?

TM1 Top is likely to be your best friend for benchmarking. The tm1top.exe sits under the Cognos\TM1\bin directroy, there's a tm1top.ini file that determines a whole range of logging preferences. Doco will guide you with configuring the .ini file in need be.
