Hi everyone,

I am new to Cognos Tm1 10.1, recently I have a proj that I will need to use TM1 Performance Modeler in order to control the workflow and data submission from User to Approver, I did have chance to try TM1 Contributor back with TM1 9.5.2, and I could be able to create the workflow using the cube view. However, in this Proj, user would like to submit the data via TM1 Performance Modeler using Tm1 Excel sheet, does anyone know if I could do tht? or does TM1 Performance Modeler only support submitting data using a pre-defined cube view. Thanks!!!

One of the new features of TM1 Applications in v10.1 (the new name for Contributor) is the ability to use WebSheets in your approval process. You still need to use the browser based interface (unless you want to replicate the workflow logic in Excel) and you have to manually tell the application which cubes need to be included in the Application. Just drag your WebSheet into the Application in the same way you would for a Cube View, and the folder for your manually added cube links will appear. Note that you can not use Cognos Insight with Applications that use WebSheets.
