Hi,

I have query for experts how to write back comments on cognos BI report to TM1.

Here in my requirement, cogos BI uses TM1 cube as a source. Now whatever the comments entered on the report that should write back to the cube and same thing to report.

TM1 should be able to trigger, whenever there are new comments in the report.

Please any ideas for this requirement.

We may see some creative suggestions, but my understanding is the BI does not do writeback at all. Think that's one of the reasons IBM are pushing TM1.
You could use TM1 Web in one of the multifarious dashboarding thingies IBM promote - think Cognos Workspace is the current flavour.

Can you even write comments at all in a BI report? I though they were entirely read only.

I agree with David, TM1Web would work. You could even add the TM1Web view as an HTML object into your BI report and by using the url api, synchronise it to any parameters in your report.
