Do you mean you would like to be directed to specific documentation or parts of the manual? Element security is what you use to make different elements accessible to some groups and not others. In order for your Cognos BI report users to run reports based off of a TM1 cube, you still need to permission them in TM1. So you have to secure the cubes inside TM1. So you might as well go ahead and secure the "measure" dimension too. With this way the security will be controlled in one place (i.e. TM1) instead of spreading in TM1 and BI.macsir wrote:Yeah, I know this in TM1.
