Centrally stored user settings on Citrix

.. not strictly a TM1 question, but I know there are a few people out there who use TM1 with Citrix .. as we have just started doing.
We have eight Citrix servers with some kind of load balancing. That means users can find themselves, fairly randomly, on any one of eight machines. We want to try and have their Application settings (TM1 and Excel) persist from box to box. I'm talking about things like Toolbars, Last Used File list, "My Places" and Favourites, TM1 Admin Servers etc etc. I understand the "classic" way to do this would be "roaming profiles" - but our Technologies group will not use those. Does anyone have any tips on how to accomplish the same effect. For example: Is it possible to direct all the key files (TM1P.INI, Excel.xlb etc etc) - and/or registry settings to be stored on an independent drive?
thanks ...........hugh
