Hi,
On SOME of my sheets I'm seeing this error when I try to export to Excel

2012-11-01 16:33:54,672 [7] DEBUG Applix.TM1.ExcelApp.ExcelApplication - ES error message set: Exception occurred while updating named ranges : [Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC]
Any ideas?

Re: Export to Excel
We are running into the same issue on TM1Web after 9.5.2 FP3 upgrade.
Do you mind sharing how this was resolved? (if it was)

Re: Export to Excel
I recently updated our 9.5.2 installation to FP3 and I started seeing this "Exception occurred while updating named ranges : [Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC]" error in some of our sheets. It happens when users open them on TM1Web and tried to export a snapshot to Excel.
I was able to fix one of the sheets. Here is what I did:
1. The error mentioned "named ranges", so I opened Name Manager in Excel (in Excel 2010) to take a look.
2. I noticed many entries contains the #REF error. A lot of them were in TM1RPTDATARNG1 (or 2/3/4/etc).
3. I removed these entries and uploaded back to the server. Export to Excel now works.
You may want to be careful with removing these TM1RPTDATARNG named ranges. If you can fix the #REF errors you probably want to fix them instead of removing them altogether.
I do not know how many worksheets have this problem. At least for the one that I saw, I was able to fix it this way.
nb.

Re: Export to Excel
Hello,
we recently installied FP3 for TM1 9.5.2 and since then we have a lot of trouble exporting reports from TM1-Web.
It seems that there are #REF errors in the reports that are not working.
Before FP3 it seems TM1 had no problem with the #REF errors, since FP3 it has.
Is there another solution (Hotfix maybe) other than checking out every single report we have?
It seems like IBM changed "something" in FP3 like we can see here:
http://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?p=37953
Thanks in advance
