Hello,
One of our customers installed the TM1 9.4 MR1 64bit for testing. The installation process was OK but afterwards he could not start the service.
"The TM1 Server - Test service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service."
Thanks for any idea in advance,
Peter

This probably isn't a 9.4 issue, have you checked the normal things?

Re: TM1 9.4 MR1 64bit install issue
Hello,
I have asked the client to start TM1 as an application.
He got the following error.
TM1 Error
---------------------------
E98) Incorrect license for TM1 Server 8 (64Bit Edition)
---------------------------
OK
Is a special lic file required for 9.4 64 bit?
Regards,
Peter

Re: TM1 9.4 MR1 64bit install issue
Yup, 32- and 64-bit licenses are different. The line in the .lic file will be: PRODUCT=TM1Server8-64.kpk wrote:Is a special lic file required for 9.4 64 bit?

Re: TM1 9.4 MR1 64bit install issue
I have extracted the lic file from the installation Data1.cab file.
Now it works.
Thanks for your help.
